小时候就很喜欢读《简。爱》，现在来了英国，很想利用周末的时间去看看夏洛蒂笔下的那个浪漫的田园诗般的所在。有人知道吗？

This was visited by Charlotte Brontë and her friend Ellen Nussey in the summer of 1845 and described by Ellen Nussey in a letter dated 22 July 1845. It was the residence of the Eyre family and its first owner Agnes Ashurst was reputedly confined as a lunatic in a padded second floor room. ---from Wikipedia Hathersage (from heather's edge) is a village in Derbyshire Peak District, in England. It lies on the north bank of the River Derwent, approximately 10 miles west of Sheffield. It is served by Hathersage railway station on the Hope Valley Line. St Michael's church in Hathersage. St Michael's church in Hathersage. It has a mediaeval church with a stained glass window by Charles Kempe, which had been removed from Derwent Chapel, before it was submerged under the Ladybower Reservoir. 其实不一定非要跑那么远啊。英国哪里的农村都差不多的感觉。
不过如果来北部，如果同样喜欢《傲慢与偏见》的话，可去去Stockport附近的Lyme Hall (1995年版的Mr. Darcy住处的外景）以及 Bakewell 附近的 Chatsworth house (2005电影版的Mr. Darcy的住处） -------------------- |
