Volkswagen Polo 1.0L 999cc, 2-door, 99 T reg. with a FSH £1700 ,The mileage is 56,000 miles, it is a manual, takes petrol. It does not have power steering.


I will see this car on this weekend and would like to know what is the resonable price i should ask back. I will use it as normal city driving.

also a few question.
1. I hope the car has power steering, but the owner said It does not have power steering but because it is such a small car, it is never an issue.
I am a little concern about it.
2. is the scrath on body will cause problem later.
It has never been in an accident, the body is completely dent free with one minor scratch here or there, and the engine does not make any strange noises.

1. you should have a test drive and decide whether you can accept a non PAS car; I ve drove two car similar but with and without PAS, you know what, i will never buy a non-PAS again.

2. This is one point at which you can bargin price with the owner, though the scratch can be repainted using a small kit(around 7 pound?) by yourself.

The engine is good. This is the most important thing as you buy a car to drive not to look

by the way the insurrance for 999cc engine is bloody cheap,

test drive的时候，找条窄点的路做3点掉头，到停车场绕8字，做parallel parking。
如果你觉得自己的手还抗得住，应该没问题。即使没有PAS，平时汽车在正常行进中打方向盘不会很费力的。

even with a small car, no PAS will also be very annoying..there is some possibility that you could be dehydrated..haha..kidding....but it is true PAS brings some pleasure of driving.
