听说英国政府颁布最新的政策在英国读完一年的研究生可以无条件延签一年,大家有听说吗?

早就知道了，今年5月以后入学的才可以。

哦哦？ 是嗎？ 是發放給全部的研究生學位嗎？

不是有限定的嗎？我在Home Office 的網站上看的 Master in Science and Engineering 的都有限定的噢。

由相關官方文件看嗎？

06年5月1日之前入学的有专业限制，之后的没有。

NEW SCHEME FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS TO ALLOW WORK IN THE UK

Many of you will be familiar with the Science and Engineering Graduate Scheme (SEGS) which allows students graduating in certain disciplines to remain in the UK for up to one year to work after their studies.

A similar programme is being introduced for postgraduate students who successfully complete and obtain a UK recognised Master's degree or PhD in "any" subject. The area of study does not need to be on a list of approved subjects, nor does it have to be related to science or engineering. Students will be able to work in the UK for up to one year following successful completion of their course. The scheme ONLY applies to those who start their course on or after 1 May 2006.
