不知道坛子有无朋友亲身经历过前后变化的，欢迎谈谈感想呀？

我们家以前的房子做了insulation ， 不过只是loft insulation ， 不是wall 的。感觉是暖和多了比以前，费用大该是100 pounds 以下吧

请问是请谁来做的？一定要用POWERGEN或者BRITISH GAS这种ENERGY SUPPLIER吗？

在yellow pages 上找的，都是 local 的。没想要找大的公司，一个是贵，第二是等的时间要长。 local 装的质量都很好的

新的房子都回有 insulation 的，这是 building regulation ，老房子用的是老 标准。冬天就不够暖和。你可一从新做 insulation的，夏天也不会热的了, England 的夏天就那末几天的了

你可以爬到你的 loft上看看，你可以看到的，wall insulation 你只能敲敲墙了， 如果象是空的， 就是没有

"The insulations (DPM & DPC: Damp Proof Membrane & Damp Proof Course) are often placed under floor, on ceiling and in cavity walls.

One of my colleagues injects the insulations into his vavity walls, the total cost was about 170 pounds, he has a semi-detached house, sounds not very expensive.

The floor needs to be taken out if the DPM/DPC is going to put in, so, the cost is a bit high.

Generally speaking, replacing all windows in a house with double-glazing glass, the cost is high, it uses two 4mm thick glass with 20mm gap between them, some even injected with inert gas.
