A standard bath tub measured 700X1700 mm. The minimium width of a stair case is 800 mm so it should be OK for this size of the bath tub taken to the upper floor. if you want a larger one then get it through the bathroom window if there is one big enough.
The cost of renewal of a bathroom starts from £1800 depending on the finish and the fittings.
