perhaps a stupid question, if everybody were to move on the same date, how does the key thing work?

We are FTB, currently renting. so we are thinking about moving the day after. The thing is we would like to have somebody coming in to clean the upstairs carpets on completion date. Is it reasonable to assume that we would get the keys by noon?

a side question: do removal companies (or man and a van, as we don't have much stuff) work on Saturdays?

completion day 当天，你的律师要把你的钱（押金，mortgage）打到对方的帐上，在对方律师确认收到钱后，会通知你交易完成。这时你就可以去房主，或是中介拿钥匙了。所以取决于手续是否顺利和律师的效率。

一般来说，中午之前应该是可以办好的。不过也不能保证。我们是下午3点得到确定的（但我们exchange contract 和 completion是同一天，可能手续复杂些）。

最好还是问你的律师和中介。让你的律师当天加紧办理。
