For one weekend only, entry won’t cost you a penny at Historic Scotland’s magnificent attractions. On 21 and 22 April 2007, Historic Scotland opens the doors, drawbridges, hatches, portcullises and gates to over 70 of their attractions for the Free Weekend. The annual event encourages visitors to discover more about the nation’s fascinating history and heritage.
