In case of rain, the race will not be cancelled.

VI. Course: The new route will take in all the best sights from the 2006 marathon, Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, Scots Monument, Holyrood Palace, New Parliament Building, without the challenging climb back to the finish in Holyrood Park. The new route, which has to be ratified, will again start on Princes. Street (In opposite direction) straight down Waterloo Place and Regent Road and turn right onto Abbeymount and Abbeyhill. It then heads through Holyrood Park and out towards the coast. The route heads on eastwards along the coast through Musselburgh before heading on through the beautiful fishing villages of Cockenzie and Port Seton. It runs around the stately grounds of Gosford House and returns along the coast, taking in Port Seton promenade and High Street before finishing in Musselburgh Racecourse.

“母爱之桥”（Mothers’ Bridge of Love）一直以共享中华文化，帮助中国儿童为目标和己任。作为2007爱丁堡马拉松的参与者之一，我们希望通过这次活动，能够唤起更多的人加入到我们的行列中来，帮助中国的残疾和病患儿童，孤儿以及农村地区的孩子。
你可以加入到我们的比赛队伍之中来，和MBL的成员一起号召更多的人来帮助这些需要帮助的中国孩子；你也可以直接与MBL联系，捐款支持我们的各种慈善计划。我们将利用这次活动筹集的善款全力资助一所青海藏族的小学和常州残疾孤儿院.

1英镑， 可以是一个农村孩子一学期的学费；
10 英镑， 可以资助一个孩子读完小学；
100 英镑，可以帮助一个农村的小学建立一个图书馆；
1000英镑，可以让残疾或者疾患的孩子得到一个和正常孩子一样健康快乐的童年。

你有能力为这些孩子的生活和未来涂画绚丽的颜色，不要犹豫，那画笔就在你的手中！

你所给与的不仅仅是金钱，而是这些孩子从未有过的希望与梦想！

你所付出的不仅仅是你一个人的爱，在未来的某一天，得到这些爱的孩子会将它们传递给其他需要爱的人，这爱，最终会传遍整个世界！
