有的公司直截了当的告诉我申请失败。
有的中介公司告诉我要去他们OFFICE注册，但是没提工作申请的情况。不知道去注册意味着什么？
有的公司干脆没回复。这种情况是否应该写个信FOLLOW　UP一下呢？

要你去注册的多半是中介公司，网上很多求职信息都是中介发布的，有的工作信息根本就是假的，为的是吸引人去注册登记

根据我的经验，没有回复的大多没戏，所以也没有必要追问

其实正规中介还是很可信的，一般他让你去注册，表示他想看看你是不是跟简历说的一样，聊一聊，对于中介来说，两边都是他的客户，如果哪边围不好他也为难，所以和中介聊完之后，他觉得你行，他一定会很快给你提供面试机会，因为他们手里有我们在网上看不到的信息。一般中介还会要你的护照，如果你需要工作许可，就跟他直说，不给办工作许可的就别费时间面试了。中介是一种资源，带滤波器的资源，好好利用。

我现在去注册是不可能的，我要RELOCATE的城市距离我现在工作的城市有250MILES远，只有我搬家过去后才能注册。我的一个朋友当天注册当天就找到工作，第2个星期就开始上班了。

每个人条件不同，机遇不同，所以啥事儿都可能。

其实，去面试花些钱没什么，该花，就当出去玩了，工作许可才是最卡人的。

楼上说得也太轻巧了吧，而且我想Awake所谓的cost也不只是说钱的问题。我也在苏格兰，比如我现在想找伦敦的工作，如果要去面试，第一是我请不出假来，近一个月的假都被book满了，如果是在苏格兰面试，我可能还可以请个半天假或者工作中间请两个小时假，如果去伦敦面试，就一点办法也没有了。从苏格兰去伦敦一趟价格也不便宜，来回飞机的话可能要近一百镑，如果只是一次面试，那我可以当是去旅游了，如果有好几个面试或者一个公司的面试要分好几次，公司又不报销费用的话，三四次下来就够呛了。

就是，我也有同样的问题

I believe you must have 20 paid holidays per year at least, if you had a plan to looking for a new job, you could save some days for your interviews. Why you couldn't arrange 1 or 2 days for a interviews?

BTW, you only need to attend you perfered interviews.

我觉得你可以写email问一下，没有什么不好的？有时不管是中介还是公司，收到的CV太多时，没有办法一一回复，写信过去还可以提醒他们在把你的CV提出来看一看，最好是在Email中再附上cv。

You are so pedantic. I have 20 paid holidays, yes, but how could I know in advance when the interview will take place? I apply one job this week; they may not give me any interview at all, and suppose they give, it could be this week, or next week, or the week after next week, should I book all these weeks on my holiday? Of course I will only attend interviews of the roles I like or I feel I have hopes, but even though the number on the list wont be a very small figure through time.

I am not saying it's a totally impossible mission. But there are really many specific difficulties that you may never think about.

No one submit a memo to manager/diractor before two weeks, right? Three days in advance notice for a short term holiday is fair enough! You should review your company'e T&C again.
BTW, I don't believe your company couldn't run properly without you.

Of course I do whatever I like. You dont really think you are the GOD, do you? You say that's easy, so that is easy? You say that's alright, so that is alright?

Well, I just try to tell you some points you may luckily not have faced. They may be silly, or maybe it's just that you are too clever or too silly to understand normal people's lives.

I only wanna say WorkPermit is the more critical condition than considering something like traveling cost.
I lost some great oppertunities, and I know the reason was WorkPermit. What would I say so? That is life.

This is so true here. I have the similar situation as you. I don't need work permit.

She was really lucky. She doesn't need WP, she does't have a UK degree. She found a job in British Gas as a data entry clerk with a temporary position in the beginning, but now becomes permanent now.
