请教在Sunderland学习的师兄师姐：
Sunderland这所大学在Times上的排名靠后，不过他的学费相当的诱人。我特地查了一下，除去中国学生特有的1500P奖学金，如果我在Sunderland学习一年的Msc Computing Base and Information System的课程，只需要6500P的学费。因此我就想具体了解下这学校的情况。
1、学校的师资力量和教学设备如何？由于本人是学计算机的，因此硬件条件的好坏会直接影响到我的课程。
2、Sunderland一年的生活费需要多少？
3、我曾经学问过学校的admission official,因为我没IELTS成绩。他告诉我可以参加学校为期半年的summer school然后通过学校的语言考试既可参加后面的专业课程，我想证实一下。
4、Sunderland打工容易么？还有那里的口音是不是很严重？
5、我是该把申请材料寄给faculty official or admission official?
6、Sunderland的中国同胞有多少啊？本人喜欢热闹，结交朋友，哈哈。

since i'm doing msc computer based information system, i think the tutors in computing school are quite good. i especially like the tutors in my course. the computer based facilities are very nice, much better than newcastle uni and northumbria uni.

it's easy to find a part time job here if u just wanna a part time job and u r not bothered what job is. i do hate the local accent here.

official?
u'd better send the application form to center of international education. i guess admission officer should be more suitable than faculty officer

by the way, i dont msc computer based information system is good for u caz it's a kind of conversion course for students who are interested in computing but havent got computing background. as u've got a computing degree, why not choose other courses which are more professional?

My major wasn't computing,it's Business.But after graduation,I have been working in IT company for almost 3 years.Now I have got Microsoft System Engineer Certificate.
My routine work is about some application of computing,not very professional.I'd like to apply the Msc of software engineering,but I'm afraid that I wouldn't finish that course in only one year.Could you give me any advice?

strongly suggest you apply for Msc software engineering.
you will find Msc computer based information system (CBIS)is too easy for you!!! my pakistani classmates always complained the course is too simple as they've got some working experience on computing.
CBIS is mainly about database systems. we've learned oracle, access, sql. but not very deep. we've learned visual basic, java. but we are not required to use java for programming. i guess it doesnt meet ur requirements if u agree.
so think about it carefully then make your own choice!!!

If admission permitted me to enter,I would apply the software engineer definately.But actually,my major is business,and my working never tought anything about software composed.How do have a qualification to apply this course?
I know CBIT is too easy to me,but it's also easy to graduate,right? I think the final certificate won't write that your course is coversion course or not.hoho.

u dont have to apply 2 courses at the same time. actually it is not a good idea i guess.
just apply 4 CBIS then, if u dont feel like doing it after u come here, go to see the course leader of software engineering and discuss it with him, u might have a chance to get an admission. anyway, to get the offer first is the most important thing, right?

i dont think it matters. just send them to the CIE as soon as possible.

you'd better seal the letter in envelop with signature of your referee on the sealed place(both sides of the envelop). It will let the university think it's confidential letter, you didn't see it.
