my December FRA results didn't give any marks, only says successfully, section 1 and 2 both Y. what does that "Y "mean?

Same here for my IAC result. There is a detailed explaination of how to read your exam result report, I did not read the explanation though.

Successful already means you passed the exam. Nothing to worry la...
Y I guess just stands for "Yes, passed".

Y indicates that you passed the section, N indicates that you did not pass the section, AB indicates that you were absent, NS indicates that no script was submitted at the end of the exam. You need to be successful in the exam as a whole. If you are unsuccessful in one section but not the other, you have to attempt the whole exam again - success in individual sections cannot be carried over to future sessions.
