那么请问通过中介得到的面试机会，是直接把 follow up email 发给中介再转交雇主吗，还是要在面试时索取联络方式？

You are not supposed to contact employer directly if you got the interview via agency.

You'd better email or call your agent after the interview. and usually your agent will contact you as well.

I normally just wait for feedback after interview.

Well, I suppose that's just a recommendation. It might enhance the candidacy, or might not... No harm trying anyway...

Here are points to show in the follow-up email, taken from the book I read:
- you paid attention to what was said
- you understood the improtance of the interviewer's comments
- you are excited about the job, can do it, and want it
- you can contribute to the first major projects

It should be brief and dispatched within 24 hours of the interview.
