Gordon Brown hires personal trainer to get fit for leadership fight

The Prime Minister has been taking morning workouts with Millie Dobie, a £50-an-hour coach, according to reports.
Miss Dobie is said to have been arriving before breakfast at the cottage in which Mr Brown and his family have been holidaying in Southwold, Suffolk.
She has been leading the Prime Minister on outdoor runs through woodland and fields, it was reported.
Mr Brown is thought to be attempting to improve his physical health in advance of his return to work at the end of the month, when he faces a possible challenge to his leadership.
Meanwhile a communication expert has said that Mr Brown fails to get his message over to voters because he consistently looks angry or sad.
Speaking after analysing videos of Mr Brown discussing a range of topics, James McBrien, of Clearwater, a London consultancy, said the Prime Minister risks alienating more voters unless he appears more optimistic.
Mr McBrien said: "My advice would be to relax and allow yourself to smile a bit more, especially when talking about upbeat news. People warm to friendliness and are less attracted to fearful, glum or angry characters.
"As a leader, people need to trust you. How you communicate speaks volumes about how you will act."
A Downing Street spokesman said: “Yes, it’s true. The Prime Minister has a personal trainer. He looks after his health just as millions of other people in Britain do.”
He refused to comment further.
