好奇這是哪一個城市或鄉鎮﹖
Speaking of knives and forks, I recall a conversation with a company representative at the Pudong Recruitment Fair here a few weeks ago. I was curious to find out why her company came all the way to Europe to recruit, and how she viewed graduates from universities in China vs. abroad.
She responded by saying that local graduates are fine and can do the job, however for such positions like Overseas Business Development, they would prefer someone who has lived abroad and has developed basic understanding of the western culture. As an example these overseas graduates would be more familiar with formal etiquette such as the use of knives and forks in a business meal setting, etc...

I was quite intrigued by this comment, and disappointed to say the least. Seems to me she has little idea of the complexity of the job and the type of talent/experience required to be successful in the role.
