I did a part time course, about 20 lessons, the cost was 220 or 230 pounds. There is a course info section on the website, you can download the PDF file for the details fees. The fees for a full time course is 6498 pounds.

I've been melting my fingers on the fretboard for a long while, but have never been wholehearted due to certain this and the other reasons...
How would I describe my skills, one word -- Crap. :-) For the time I've been playing for. It's pretty much a life hobby for me, I just love to play it when I have time, but making a living upon it isn't anything I could dream of anymore.

Don't you worry for being a newbie. If you find it's a fun to play guitar, just carry on. Ed Van Halan's father's word "Just carry on rolling your wagon wheels".
For me, playing guitar is just so much fun! Sadly I couldn't take it on as my career. But still, I'm still self entertained when I play it.

10 weeks, I think, 2 lessons (2 hrs) / week.

Thanks a lot for your advise, mate. well, i have to admit that playin' guitar is such a fun,
even if my hands have no idea on the fingerboard Playin' a band was my dream when i was little,however, my family won't pay 6000pounds for me to study the guitar, never&ever. well, i can't make such big money at the moment as well, wot i can do just buy a guitar and playin by myself, learnin by myself, & enjoy myself. 
Yes, there are a lot of learning resource available anyway, you can buy books and videos teach yourself. Don't have to spend a lot to sit in the class. You need a guitar for sure tho. A half decent one cost a bit, but I'm sure you can wort that out. Enjoy finger dancing on the fretboard.

I like anything sounds nice (melodic things) to me really. Inc. instrumental, rock, metal, pop, classic and symphony etc.
I quite like Rock, sometimes i do like Jazz and Folks as well, i think it depends on wot kind of mood r u in. and people change, then the fav. music getting change,too.
i picked up guitar 8 years ago and used to play in several bands,from rock,punk to bebop. love music and film very much. I'm now doing audio course in london and have free studio time. I am willing to recording+produce any sound from music , tv, film to radio...
