My friend wants to prepare english test for studying master degree in UK. There are two type of tests, TOFEL and IELTS. Which one is better or easier to be accepted by UK universities?

it's English, the other one is American.

people are arguing that T is easier than I, that's ture;
BUT some schools DO have a seemingly higher requirement ot T score as to I score, take Bristol's Economics as an example, it requires an I of 7 but a T of 640, whereas I suppose 640 for T should be harder than 7 in I, just a big guess, never had a chance to take either of the two..
