DB今年形势不错，实习和新来的中国人很多，国内北京和上海办公室都直接从本科生中找人，美国那边过来培训的新人中也有不少华人

This is my fourth week in the company. I haven't been assigned to any project yet, so haven't got much things to do. The time is quite slow here, and the atmosphere is quite relaxed. There are 3 chinese here already, and there is one more coming.

I also started working for my new employer for 3 weeks already. Not so busy here as well. All ppl off at 5:30pm. I also have 3 Chinese teamates! (including my boss!).

I also started a few weeks ago. How nice it is to keep occupied!?

I started two weeks ago, 9am-5pm+ 3 hrs homework every day. had two mock exams already, and there are four more coming next two weeks.

I am supposed to be busy on preparing for the examination on next year too. But....... I am just too lazy to do anything (except eating and sleeping).

yep..there is a programme called "Business Advisor" for fresh grad. this yr...im going for that one...

but well..strictly speaking...they are not really Mgt Consult. firms...the big ones are rili McKinsey, Bain and Accenture etc. right? i submit app. to them all but so far still got no reply..guess they r not successful...dats y i turn to big 4..which may seem just a lil bit less difficult (my gut guess ) but anyway...to refine my preference, i should say im interested in both "business advisory" and "mgt. conslutancy"...sorry for the confusion....but both seem pretty similar to me...doing analysis, fixing problems n looking for solutions...so was i wrong?

i think it is very likely i screwed those open ended questions..esp. that Q asking abt my initialtive one...i think my answer was really crap..dat could be the reason...but might the service line also matters? i applied for "Advisor - RBS" which service line may be slighly easier?

投行很难进,又是第一次申请,应该多给帮助和鼓励才对呀!

Which IB are you applying for?

Normally, they want to see solid examples of leadership, team-working, analytical skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, how you deal with difficult situations...etc..

Just think about some really good examples which will spot on, and better write some ideas down on a piece of paper.
