我朋友的公司已开张2个月了，今天收到一封来自Data Protection Enforcement Agency的信，内有一份表需要填写， 表名为DATA PROTECTION AGENCY REGISTRATION ENFORCEMENT,并要交纳135镑注册费， 说若7天未收到回复， 就违反了法律， 并处以最高5000镑的罚款。 请问你们遇到过这种事吗，听说过这个机构吗，必须得交这笔钱去注册吗？盼回复，替朋友谢了！
先看信了,先了解为什么要付这个钱了,
没有单独的信纸，打开信封里面只有这份表格和一个回邮信封。没有任何说明，也没有具体的负责人的名字，没有任何签名，连个联系电话都没有，回邮地址是：Data Protection Agency, PO Box 1098, Blackpool, FY1 2WS , 觉得纳闷！

Correspondence that is really from the IC always bears his Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire address.
There is no connection between the IC and these agencies. The IC continues to cooperate with other relevant authorities in the investigation of these agencies.
The annual statutory notification fee is £35.00, on which no VAT is payable.

the agency is genuine, but your 'agency' seems to be fake:-)

谢谢！我去你提供的连接看了，果然在IC提到的最近收到的投诉中有Data Protection Agency (Registration Enforcement) PO Box 1098, Blackpool, FY1 2WS， 我仔细又看了一下那份表， 上面说支票写给：Registration Fees, 为何不是写给组织机构呢？更觉得可疑了，应该不用去理他了。多谢！
