I have PC and a 5.1 speaker set with subwoofer. I also plan to buy a 7 channel sound card with Microphone echo and Karaoke ascending/descending key effects.

Will this enough for karaoke in a 5m * 3m room? do I need a didicated amplifier and mixer?

Does anybody have this sort of experience and therefore can advice what i should buy?
