not worth unless u decide to drive auto forever. Pay the same fee for exam but with limitaiton....also not tat easy to pass as imagine (u need to focus on exactly the same thing as manual one maybe just a bit easier in car control part..)
Automatic is easier to drive in my view, especially hill start and no gear changing issue. You can more concentrate on the road, or maybe gas and brake.

The downside is little bit expensive learning and test fee, less vehicle choices and more fuel consumption. Only good thing is easy to drive, which is really good.

It really depends on what you want.
If at the moment you have difficulty in changing gear and need to get a license quick then go for an auto one, and learn to drive manual one in a convenient time later.
However if you are not in a hurry then I would suggest to study the manual one for the following reasons
1. manual car is more popular here and you have more choice when buying a new or used car.
2. it's cheaper to buy.
3. it's cheaper to run - both fuel consumption and maintenance/repair cost will be lower.
4. once you get used to it, it's really not that difficult to drive it in this country - unless you use it in city centres in most of the time.
however if you planing to buy a Mercedes then you don't need to study manual car - I wouldn't suggest to buy a Mercedes with manual transmission.

as far as i know, the driving test for the automatic is basically no different from the manual. only one thing-the gear change is different.if you can practice with a manual, better do a manual test which also allows you to drive a automatic.
then how about Im seeking a way to get the license asap? Will the auto-geared car take remarkable less time to learn, thus shorten my learning period.
it does depend on yourself. if you can pick up manual quickly, go on with it. if not, try automatic. but the exam rules are all the same except gear shift.
