我今天第一次学车，我付了对方支票，对方要了我的Visa Debit Card号码和卡的起始截止日期，对我来说这样安全吗？会不会被人盗用啊？我不懂得这些，请高人指教啊，先谢谢啦.

sounds a bit strange. but probablly the instrustor is protecting himself. as the cheque needs 3 working days to be cleared in most cases. the person issung the cheque could easily stop the cheque...provided you haven't told him the security code at the back of the card, it should not be a problem.

但是我还是觉得怕怕的，有的时候在网上买东西是不需要提供security code 的，下次我是否该拒绝呢？我怎么这么外行啊，什么都不懂的，我该怎么办啊，还怎么活啊

我认为没事，原来在餐馆打工的时候，很多客人写支票付帐，都要把卡号也写上的，因为你只要有CHEQUE GUARANTEE CARD 才可信的。

in my opinion, if you are really worried, check your balance on a cash machine after a couple of days. if anything suspicious, just inform your bank to suspend yoru bank account and reissue a card for you. don't worry. i can't see a problem indeed.

不用担心，这是规矩，楼上说的没错。都是这么做的。写卡号。只是不要把卡轻易拿给任何人看，保护好背面的安全码。
