The company installed the computer for me, but one annoying thing is there is no Chinese input system. I went to 'control pannel' then Local Language settings, but when I click the button to add another Asian language, it keeps asking me to put Win XP SP2 CD in which I don't have and cannot download from internet freely and successfully.

What I want to know is could I download, say, MS pinyin package and install it? Will that solve the problem? Thanks a lot.

You can go here http://www.njstar.com to download a chinese input system,but that just can be used 30 days for free, after that you need to reinstall it again. or you could try http://www.inputking.com, this one, which you don't need to install,but you have to open it everytime when you trying to input Chinese.

if u use WinXP, the Chinese input system is embeded, just add it

以上的都是在线的中文输入系统, 最简单的是 justinput.com, 直接选择输入法就可以使用了, 其他的都需要安装字库.

你可以和公司的it支持部门联系一下，他们应该有原来的英文版系统安装盘，里面就有东亚语言支持包，安装那个以后就可以用了。或者用bt下载一个windows xp的盘，bt的下载比较好找。

如果没有安装东亚语言的话，是没有中文输入法选项的。

另外，如果你的电脑上可以安装使用中文软件的话，就可以安装微软输入法，不过这个可能性不大。

今天早上打算装原来计算机带的语言包，可是还不行。就乱翻了一下公司给的笔记本的包，结果SP2 PACK 在里面，现在好了。
