我在网上用别名开了一个ADSL，用了一半不想继续用了。但是合同是一年的。不知道假如我直接把direct debit给取消了，会有什么后果。我用的是别名开的，ISP没有我的真名，这样做会有什么后果吗？

you must have told your real name in some stage already, at least on the direct debit form fowarded to the bank, otherwise bank would refuse the direct debit to be set up.

Direct Debit只需要提供sort code和account number，好像不需要提供真名的
有account number就等于什么都有了, 找到你很容易. 你签了合同就代表你同意使用一年, 现在停掉等于毁约.
