我收到的newcastle offer 写着如下内容：
All postgraduate students whose native language is not English must take a proficiency test at the University Language Centre before registration unless specifically emempted or unless they hold a first degree in English Language or Literature or any undergraduate degree from a United Kingdom University. If the test indicates that remedial tuition is required candidates will be allowed to register for their course but will have the opportunity of attending appropriate classes.
这是不是意味着如果不能通过英语测试就需要额外交纳补习英语的费用？这不是太坑人吗？我知道很多学校都是免费给补习的呀！
另外，由于考试完至今很久不碰英语了，又不知道这种考试是如何进行的，当然，出去前肯定还会在国内自己补习英语，但如果有newcastle的前辈对这方面的考试作出点介绍，免得万一不过多花钱就更好了！请版主及纽大的朋友给点提示和建议！
