Using the Map
The map shows research council funded and other research related sites in the United Kingdom that are not directly affiliated with universities. The name of an institution or site is a link to that institution. The colour of the associated star indicates the affiliation of the institution.
- Red for National Environmental Research Council Sites
- Orange for Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council Sites
- Yellow for other research council sites.
- Green for Museums, Observatories etc.,
- Blue for actual locations
- Purple for Scottish Agricultural Research Institute Sites
The map was devised, constructed and is maintained by the School of Computing and Information Technology, University of Wolverhampton. Updates and corrections are always welcome although I may not always be able to incorporate them immediately. Apologies are offered for any inadvertent omissions and errors.
