Dr Zhang is a Lecturer at Durham University. He received his PhD degree from Oxford University. He is the President of the Chinese Economics Association in the UK, 2004 - 2005, the Guest Director of Institute for Financial Research, East China Normal University and Vice Chairman of China Federation of World Economics.
